The Boltor Prime , a weapon that once dominated the meta in Warframe is currently in the drop tables of the game. It is an automatic assault rifle with non-hitscan projectiles. Prime weapons are basically the direct upgrades of their normal counterparts, usually with a kind of secondary mechanics.
However, this is one of the more obsolete prime weapons of the heap. It behaves like a typical standard weapon in the game, only with the characteristic prime, the golden timing and a satisfactory firing noise. The statistics of the Boltor Prime seem pretty decent as a middle class weapon, but his high control level is confusing me rightly. It has nothing significant except his impressive percentage of the Statuschance.
Hier is a build where I optimally utilize the largest strength of the weapon.

Unfortunately, this build for players with lower levels seems to be galvanized chamber and galvanized fitness due to the use of not in question. The former can be exchanged for a normal split chamber, but the damage increases with the, on kill 'effects.
All weapons in this game are useful to some extent, but the true test is whether or not they can record it with Steel Path or Entries of Level 150+. The Boltor Prime requires one of the newer galvanized mods in this case. Galvanized aptitude is a staple food for this build. Without it, the potential of this weapon can not get much more than using a perfectly rolled RIVEN-MOD or damage-enhancing skills such as Mirages Eclipse, Rhinos Roar or Chromas Vex Armor.
The weapon was tested with the standard simulacrum setup of Corrupted Heavy Gunners with maximum level. It really really shone until the galvanized effect showed, making the weapon only half decently worked.
If you are a fan of Boltor Prime due to its design or other preferences, you should definitely do it. However, I would suggest to buy an Acceltra, Telos Boltor or the Trumna instead.
