Kerstin Brachtendorf (born May 22 1972) is a German Para-cyclist that represented Germany in the Paralympics Games.
Cyclist Kerstin Brachtendorf has just missed another medal at the Paralympics in Tokyo. The third of the single-time trial landed in the road race on the Fuji International Speedway after 79.2 kilometers rank five, to bronze missed in the start class C4-5 only 27 seconds. The 39-year-old lay over large parts of the race as a soloist at the top, but was caught up in the penultimate lap.
The German men experienced a heart disappointment in the race of the collapsed start classes C1-3. As the best of a quartet, Rio Sieger Steffen Warias came after 79.2 km in seventh place, he had the Sprint around Bronze in his group. The Time Driver Third Matthias Schindler landed in place 13th.

Banner carrier Michael Teuber had expected no chance in the race of the collapsed start classes and drove early on early. The 53-year-old is classified in the heaviest restricted category C1 and had to compete against the less limited athletes of the start classes C2 and C3.
