If you look at the German Bundesliga, there are very many coaches with RB background. Why is the Red Bull School successfully forming so many coaches?
Of course you register that and I know where the journey of my predecessors went. But that s nothing, which somehow influences me. I have no career plan and is 100 percent focused on the task in Salzburg. It makes me crazy fun to work here. As far as the RB school is concerned, I can only speak for Salzburg. Here the environment is simply very constant. For years, a clear plan has been based on working with exceptional talents.
Now you meet in the Champions League on the VfL Wolfsburg and coach Mark van Bommel. Have you actually played against each other as a player?
I honestly do not know that anymore. But it can be good that at that time I played with Hoffenheim against him and the FC Bayern. Anyway, I have vagued him as an unpleasant opponent (laughs).
They lead the group G with four points with Salzburg, Wolfsburg is still without victory after two games. So go to the game as a favorite?
No, we will not let us play the favorite role. We know that we meet an absolute top team from the Bundesliga. Despite the table constellation, we remain humble and modest. Wolfsburg has not yet won in the first two games, but not yet lost. If one compares the market values of us and Wolfsburg, we already know which starting position prevails before this game. This is an absolutely narrow group, as many experts have previously prophesied.

We want natural and courageous to annoy Wolfsburg. What then comes around, you will see. In any case, we do not start any calculation games because of the table constellation.

You do not have to be a specialist in order to realize that he brings an incredible strength with his dynamics and speed. I have not seen that in the form so often. Karim is still young, but he is ready to constantly improve. He is wissird. These are good conditions that his journey continues. I wish that he stays like us as a team: modest and humble. He still has a lot of potential that is not exhausted. I trust him a big career.
