The Green Bay Packers have opted for the Thursday Night Football Game at the Arizona Cardinals in a dramatic manner. Kyler Murray threw an interception at the last play of the game. The hosts must therefore accept the first defeat of the season.
The eighth victory in a row, which continued undefeated season to reach near: 15 seconds before the end, the Cardinals had the ball at the State of 21:24 at the opposing five-yard line. The Overtime seemed virtually secured, the victory only a positive play away. But it came differently.
Kyler Murray (22/33, 274 YDS, 2 INT, 6 ATT, 21 YDS) threw a passport to the right side of the field in the end zone, where A.J. Green (5 rec, 50 yds) in direct duel with Rasul Douglas was. Unlike all other receivers of the Cardinals, however, Green did not take a pass route, but seemed to block Douglas. The cornerback was able to vote the ball in the air and pick up acrobatically. Interception, turnover, the packers won the game!
The Cardinals had just turned off the almost certainly defeated defeat for a shortly before: after a foul of Marvin Wilson to Equanimeous St. Brown (2 REC, 12 YDS) in the end zone, the Packers had a Fourth-and-Goal of the one-yard Line, the guests but also got the ball - even due to a bad delay-of-game penalty - not in the end zone. The passport attempt by Aaron Rodgers (22/37, 184 YDS, 2 TD, 2 ATT, 3 YDS) on Randall Cobb (3 REC, 15 YDS, 2 TD) at Fourth Down was sentenced by Devon Kennard to the Line of Scrimming.
So the Cardinals could take over the ball on the one-yard line. Murray, thanks to Big Plays to Green and Christian Kirk (4 REC, 48 YDS), led the field to the field - in the end zone, Douglas made all dreams of home team with his interception.
NFL: Cobb and Conner achieved two touchdowns each
Both teams were rather launched into the game. The first three drives of the game ended all quickly in punts. The first touchdown of the game fell, thanks to a monsterplay of Deandre Hopkins (2 REC, 68 yds), the opponent Eric Stokes looked like a Jump Ball of Murray Old. Shortly thereafter, Chase Edmonds (7 ATT, 30 YDS, TD, 3 REC, 39 YDS) ran the ball into the end zone. However, Hopkins injured the play again at the thigh and had to follow the majority of the game from the sideline. He lacked the Cardinals offense noticeably.
The packers who had to do without the Davante Adams, all Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, were offensive almost exclusively on runs, screens and fast short passports, but with this recipe were lead. Aaron Jones (15 ATT, 59 YDS, 7 REC, 51 YDS), which in the backfield the Snaps with A.J. Dillon (16 ATT, 78 yds), scored the first touchdown for the guests, Mason Crosby (1/1 FG, 3/3 XP) set with a Field Goal from 21 yards away after a fumble at a Punt Return of Rondale Moore (3 REC, 24 YDS, 2 ATT, 1 YDS) The 10: 7 pause guide.
In the second pass, the Packers continued to expand their leadership after an interception of Murray: Cobb began a pass from Rodgers in the duel with Byron Murphy. A little later, it was again Cobb, who was sought and found by Rodgers in the end zone.
The Cardinals, however, responded itself to the scores of the packers themselves with a touchdown drive. James Conner (5 ATT, 22 YDS, 2 TD) achieved the connection twice, each with a touchdown run and thus produced the 21: 24 score in the last quarter.
Green Bay then marched over 74 yards to the edge of the opposing end zone, but did not manage to achieve the playing touchdown. So Rodgers and Co. had to tremble the Muglas Duglas then then became a matchwinner.
The Packers meet the Chiefs in Kansas City in the coming week. The Cardinals appear in San Francisco at the 49ers.

Cardinals vs. Packers - the most important statistics
With 5.0 yards Pro Run, the Cardinals had gone into play with the liga s two-windest Run defense. The approved 4.4 yards per run were a better value this evening, the 151 rushing yards of the packers were still co-decisive for the victory of the guests.
Matt Lafleur had lost a game in his NFL career until he was in the lead at halftime. Nothing changed today. With a tour to the break, the packers under LaFleur now have a balance of 26 wins and only one defeat.
In his 40th game in Regular Season, Lafleur also drove his 33th victory. Thus, the Head Coach of the Packers in his first 40 games is more successful than any other coach in the history of the NFL. Without their three best receivers, the packers worked offensively especially in the short passport game. Rodgers ended the match with an average target depth of just 3.3 yards.
The Star of the game: Rasul Douglas (Cornerback, Packers)
Nine tackles, which, by far, most on the packers. An important pass deflection. Dooulas played a good game despite a pass-interference penalty anyway. In the last seconds, the Cornerback then became the absolute matchwinner. Douglas Fing Murray s Pass Acrobatic in the end zone and thus secured his packer s victory.
The Flop of the Game: Rondale Moore (Wide Receiver, Cardinals)
The entire open lake of Cardinals did not really find her rhythm for a long time today. Instead of Moore, for example, GREEN standing at this point, but the rookie was directly involved in two game scenic scenes: In the first half, Moore touched a punt of the packer with his finger and brought Green Bay to the ball directly in front of the end zone. At the first Drive after the break, he got one - but also inaccurately thrown - Screen Pass of Murray not under control and tapped the ball in the hands of Henry Black. Once again, the packers took the ball in the Red Zone.

Analysis: Cardinals vs. Packers - The tactical panel
Without Adams, Valdes Scantling and Lazard on the field, the packers renounced almost entirely on their downfield passing game. In the first half, Rodgers threw only a deep pass - and he went towards his running backs: Aaron Jones had got a step forward against Isaiah Simmons on a Wheel Route. Instead, the guests used even more than anyway used to their Screen Game. Green Bay always threw Screen passports on Aaron Jones, also Amari Rogers was used. After a muffed punt of Rondale Moore, the packers had the golden opportunity shortly before the end zone to lead to leadership with a touchdown lead. The Packers, who could actually run the ball that evening very well, ran three pass plays in a row, but could not take a pass and then kicked the Field Goal. After the Cardinals in the first half - with the exception of a Big PLAY - offensively almost nothing took about at all, changed the hosts in the second round of their approach. Arizona put on an up-pace offense with numerous no-huddle plays and had a success. After the interception drive at the beginning of the second half, the Cardinals achieved two Touchdowns at the next two Drives. Green Bay apparently made Randall Cobb as the best Enzone Target in the second half. The slot receiver saw only five targets throughout the game, four of them were in the end zone. A pass was not available for Cobb, another was blocked on the line of scrimmage, two passes cobb for touchdowns.
