The next Stardev Valley? Developer introduces new chill

The Stardew Valley Creator presents his new project and leaves fan hearts higher. It seems to solve the new game completely from farm setting. But what should it go then?

That s the spiritual successor of Stardew Valley

Only a few weeks ago, Eric Barone, the Creator of Stardew Valley, confirms that no further updates for the farm simulation are in planning. Now he puts the cards openly on the table and presents his new project.

Haunted Chocolatier , So the title of his new game, removes from the popular Farming genre and dares something completely new: You should make chocolate and sell them in a home-looking villa.

The charming pixel look as well as well-known features are retained for struggles and build-up of friendships. Although it is not a direct sequel or more content, Haunted Chocolatier remains faithful to its roots.

The trailer immediately makes every STARDEY-VALLEY fan want more:

As you probably already withdrawed from the trailer, it s also in Haunted Chocolatier rather relaxed to the point. Yes, your chocolate business is hit by spirit. But the ghosts seem to help you with a smile in the store, instead of helping you to spin the goods from the charging counter and scare your customers.

Something more variety is likely to offer the gameplay reminiscent of Moonlighter. In Haunted Chocolatier, your ingredients have to collect, and hunt to make your own sweets. Afterwards, these are then sold in your store. You can set up this at will - probably you will have to manage the shop a bit.

What are the fans saying?

New game from Stardew Valley creator revealed | Haunted Chocolatier (Gameplay / Breakdown) The comments to the trailer are overwhelming positive. Some raise the magnificent soundtrack , others are looking forward to the huge relaxation factor, which also seems to have Haunted Chocolatier.

Youtuber Furyforged says he will bring thousands of hours to play with Willy Wonka - and many to vote. Anyone who has already played Stardew Valley will know that you can easily forget the time and spend hundreds of hours in the game. (Source: YouTube / Concernedape)

It remains to be seen how extensive Haunted Chocolatier will be and above all when it should be published. So far, there is no release date yet. According to the developer, it will probably take a while until the game is done. (Source: HauntedColatier)
