Many gamers are looking for a way to get relatively cheap to a graphics card. Now there are rumors that AMD wants to introduce two cheap graphics cards in spring 2022. These leaks had taken up about the English news magazine WCCFETECHT (via wccfech.com).

The first graphics card should be the Radon RX 6500 AT. The release should be in January 2022. The second graphics card should be the Radon RX 6400. This graphics card should appear in March 2022.

But especially one thing is likely to taste the fewest gamers looking for a potent graphics card for a reasonably reasonable price: because the RX 6500 AT and the RX 6400 should be equipped with 4 GB video memory, according to rumors.

Video memory is one of the most important properties of a graphics card

What is video memory at all? The video memory (or VRAM) is installed directly in the graphics card and passes data to the graphics card. The graphics card is therefore particularly fast memory. 4 GB video memory are not future-proof 2021 and 2022

Graphics cards with 4 GB or less video memory is no longer really recommended 2021 and 2022 because they do not provide future security. At the latest, if your larger resolutions are preferred as Full HD or to play with all sorts of details, then 4 GB video memory is simply too little.

If you really want to gamble and that on Full HD, then you should invest more money and access the Radon RX 6600 or RTX 3060. Because these two graphics cards offer you 8 GB (RX 6600) and 12 GB (RTX 3060) video memory and are thus significantly better for the future.
